Welcome to episode 16 the Unofficial SeaWorld Podcast! We have had an incredible year, and we are thrilled to be celebrating one year. Last year we started out as a brand new show, with no friends or followers, and here we are today, breaking global news, talking to SeaWorld trainers, and bringing the podcast to thousands of people every month. We have been humbled by how the show has grown over the past 12 months, and we are hopeful, that we will continue to grow,with participation from you, our fans.

SeaWorld Podcast Episode 13 - Interview with Dennis Wirzman about the Sea of Surprises

Welcome back to Episode 13 of the Unofficial SeaWorld Podcast where your hosts Eric, Mike and Erin are here to share with you that latest SeaWorld news, rumors and inforamtion as we talk about what is happening at all 3 SeaWorld Parks in San Diego, Orlando and San Antonio. 

Since launching the Unofficial SeaWorld Podcast in January, we have been making tweaks and changes all year, trying to provide the best possible show, to all you SeaWorld superfans! And after talking to a lot of you, getting some great feedback, we are making some big changes that will result in more breaking news, better news coverage, and hopefully it will be more entertaining to all of our listeners out there! The first big change, is we have asked Erin aka SpacedOutShamu on Twitter to join us as our 3rd host! Erin will be taking a more active role, where she will continue to provide the Animal spotlight, but will also help with the news and commentary

In our interview with Dennis Wirzman the man in charge of Entertainment at SeaWorld Parks, we talk about the Sea of Surprises, the new nighttime Shamu Show, the floats in the Macy's Thanksgiving parade, and the Pasedena Tournament of Rose Parade.  We also learn that the Sea of Surprises has lots of bubbles!

We then talk news from around all 3 SeaWorld parks with Aquaticas in Orlando, San Antonio and San Diego getting new attractions this next year, and especially Aquatica San Antonio getting a new free flight aviary with over 300 birds, 80 different species, and a tropical oasis. 

We also talk about the SeaWorld Super Fan meets that will be taking place at all 3 SeaWorld parks over the next 6 months.

In this episode we will bring you news from all 3 SeaWorld Parks, SeaWorld Orlando, San Antonio and San Diego, along with an incredible interview with Catherine Brown a Sea Lion trainer at SeaWorld San Antonio, talk to Super Fan Becca, and Super Fan Erin who just came back from Career Camp at SeaWorld Orlando. We also have an animal spotlight on Harbor Seals, some inspring Sea Rescue stories and more!

In this episode of the Unofficial SeaWorld Podcast we go behind the scenes at Antarctica, we go live on location where SeaWorld returns 4 rescued and rehabilitated Manatees back into the wild.  We also talk to SeaWorld Superfan @GlenC1212 about why he likes SeaWorld.

Eric & Mike also take on the movie BlackFish, and examine what is factually incorrect, and rebute assertions made by the movie about BlackFish.
